Main Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing a team of Sales Managers.
- Identifying valuable emerging markets.
- Accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace
- Develop strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets to keep the company competitive and innovative
- Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions
- Maximizing company profit
- Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and demand.
- Maintains sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Interacts with senior management levels which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters related to the clients.
- Provide feedback, support and coaching to the sales team.
- Plan and direct sales team training.
